Five or free is a chance for you to own a part of There are too many things in the cupboard by David Wills. Select an image or images from the wall and draw a ticket(s) for each image selected—draw free and the image is yours, draw $5 then you have to pay $5 for it.
Please note: You can choose as many images as you like. If you decide to play you are committed to any image you take from the wall. If you draw a $5 ticket then you have pay $5. If you draw free it is yours to take.
The last Five or free took place on Friday 20 March 2009 between 6 and 8pm at the the ANU School of Art Gallery, Childers St, Acton in Canberra. The first Five or free was held at the NAS Gallery on 29 March 2008 as part of the Salad Days Artist in Residence exhibition at the National Art School, Sydney.
